I network trans-culturali: nuove prospettive interpretative dei processi di internazionalizzazione

Vittoria Marino, Carmen Gallucci, Giada Mainolfi

Abstract

The aim of this paper, through an overview of the relevant literature available at international level, is to trace and highlight the path marking the progress pioneering firms have accomplished in innovation from an internationalisation point of view. The different historical phases in actual fact, reflect the relationship between firm and the international context, taking into account the pressure and the distinctive competitive forces of the period under investigation. The approach illustrated aims to explicate the determining elements of a new interpretative model of internationalisation, in the light of the most recent trends and scientific debates on the issue. One of the potential processes of territory and economic development can be identified in the co-evolution of the same, which, cutting across trans-cultural networks, rendering space and time mere abstractions can contribute to overcoming traditional sectoral logics in terms of co-operation.
